For many of you, September marks the beginning of a new school year either for yourself or for your children.  We at UMB recognize the importance of this time of year, so we are working very hard to provide you with financial products that speak to the needs of children, students and young professionals.  Later this month, we will launch inventive products and services that will allow you to financially prepare for the future of your children through every stage of their development.

 

Additionally, for those attending University and beginning their professional careers, we have recently launched the Aspire Account.   The Aspire Account is UMB’s way of helping you develop a solid financial foundation to help ensure your academic and professional success.

July is shaping up to be quite an eventful month as we continue to work hard to provide you with the exceptional service that you deserve.  The expansion of our ATM network continues as we have added 15 new ATMs to our network, bringing our total to 37 ATMs.  This means that no matter where you are in the Greater Accra or the Kumasi area, you will be able to access your funds through our convenient and reliable ATM system.  We have also increased the daily withdrawal limit to GHS1,000 to provide you with added convenience and flexibility.

Continuing with our theme of convenience, we are not only expanding our ATM network, but we are also expanding our branch network.  Stay tuned for exciting news about our new branch openings.

We also have a great new addition to our vibrant social media community.  We have launched our LinkedIn page to provide you with more information about UMB and our talented professionals.  We encourage you to follow our LinkedIn page and to connect with members of the UMB team.   Also, if you have not already done so, please make sure to like us on Facebook and to follow us on Twitter.  We have some very exciting and useful information that we share on those platforms and it is a great way to connect with UMB.

Exciting things have been happening at UMB and I am happy to inform you that this is just the beginning.  We are working diligently to find new ways to better serve you.  Whether through our improved product offering, our committed Relationship Managers or our new Saturday banking hours, UMB is dedicated to ensuring that you have the best banking experience possible.

 

We recently added four new ATMs to our already vast ATM network and we are working on adding more.  Additionally, through substantial investment in our IT hardware, we now have full ATM up time.  This means that our reliable ATM network will provide you with 24/7 access to your funds.  We have ATMs at all of our 22 branches and at the following off-site locations: Spintex, Dansoman, IPS, and Palace Mall.

 

In the coming months, we will be implementing new measures to provide you with added convenience and increased access to our financial services.  Indeed, the future looks very bright at UMB and we look forward to serving you.
