At UMB, October is a significant month for us because it signifies the global celebration and appreciation of you, our most important business partner on the occasion of Customer Service Week (October 7 – 11, 2019), under the theme “The Magic of Service”. October is also a period where we join hands with the millions around the world on “Pink October” to raise awareness on breast cancer and the importance of early detection. As we mark Customer Service Week, I invite you to visit any UMB branch as I could be the one offering you a magical service. On that note, let me use this opportunity to wish you, our valued customer, a happy Customer Service Week celebration.

On that celebratory note, I am happy to officially announce to you that, following the Governor of the Bank of Ghana’s statement a few weeks ago, UMB has received funding to complete the GHS400 million minimum capital requirement under the Ghana Amalgamated Trust (GAT). Let me once again use this medium to appreciate each and every one of you for your continuous business and faith in us. We promise to continue to develop and deliver exceptional products and services that will guarantee favourable returns on your investments with us.
